Hi, I am Rafi Ahammed Songram (just call me Songram) from Dhaka, Bangladesh. I am a passionate Computer Science student who enjoys learning new stuffs about technology and research methodology. I have completed my BSc. degree in May 2024 from the department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET), one of the leading engineering university of Bangladesh.

My undergraduate thesis focuses on Efficient Convolutional Neural Network and Grad-CAM visualization for Optical Character Recognition (OCR) , under the guidance of Assistant Professor S.M. Mahedy Hasan (RUET) in collaboration with Prof. Dr MD Al Mamun (RUET) . I have also done published research works on Network Security, Osteoarthritis classification using Deep Learning. Additionally, I have also conducted research on hybrid model that integrate Deep Learning and Machine learning.

When I am not studying papers or writing codes, you might find me into music, theatre, and poetry. I particularly enjoy organizing and performing in cultural programs along with leading technical events for my peers. I also love to travel and connect with new people!

I am actively looking for Graduate Student (Fall 2025) / Research Intern (ASAP) positions in top CS research labs. You are also welcome to knock me with startup ideas and educational content creation opportunities.

Research Experience

My research interests lie in applying Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Computer Vision , Biomedical Imaging , Optical Character Recognition and Natural Language Processing techniques to solve real-world problems across Software Engineering, Healthcare, and AI for societal impact. Looking ahead, I am keen to explore human-centric challenges, particularly in Human Disease, AI for Society, and Healthcare innovation.

Currently, I am conducting a study on nuclei classification in ER-IHC stained histopathology images, utilizing advanced deep learning models to drive new insights in biomedical imaging
